We have a uniform at Ilam Primary School.
School Uniform
- Black shoes or ankle boots
- White or grey socks
- Grey skirt/pinafore/trousers
- Red or white polo shirt
- White Shirt with a Tie
- Red cardigan/sweatshirt with school logo
- Red checked gingham dress (optional in Summer Term)
- Sunhat/sun cream during the summer months
- Winter coat, hat and gloves
- For church, any concerts or formal occasions KS2 pupils wear a white shirt and tie. Ties can be purchased from the school office for £5
For physical education
- Plain black or navy shorts
- Plain white t-shirt
- Trainers
- Black or navy Track suit (for colder weather)
- Spare socks
- A draw string P.E. bag (not rucksack)
For Swimming
- Swimming costume/fitted trunks (not swimming shorts)
- Swimming cap
- Towel
Forest School
Children require warm outdoor clothing and wellingtons for Forest School.
Currently, pupils can come dressed in outdoor clothes on their Forest School day but must wear their usual black school shoes and bring their wellingtons/outdoor boots in a bag to change into.

Hedgehog Class : Friday

Book bags, which are regularly used by children, are issued on entry to the school, free of charge.
All items of school wear, not just the above, should have a woven name label, as indelible ink wears off quickly with washing
