Ilam School Association (ISA)

    The Ilam School Association is made up of parents, guardians and friends of the school, with its main aim to raise funds to benefit the children of Ilam school, ensuring the best education provision.

    Another side to the ISA is providing a fun social group for parents and guardians to meet each other, a great way to become part of the school community and learn more about the school and ISA.

    Throughout the year we put on fun events that provide valuable funding for the school to enhance the children’s experiences and education. This is only possible with the support of parents and guardians and are always appreciative of any help you can provide.

     

    Funding, Fundraising and Events

    The following is a list of ways the ISA have provided funding to the school in the form of trips or items for the children so far:

    • Class pots: Money is given to each class every term for the teacher to spend on various resources not provided by government.
    • Coach Trips: the ISA have funded coach trips
    • School bags: Providing children with school logo red book bags
    • Circus day
    • Arts week
    • Books
    • Forest school: supporting forest school by allowing them to purchase additional items for outdoor activities to broaden the forest school curriculum.
    • Goal Posts
    • iPads

     

    The following is a list of fundraising and fun events the ISA have helped to organise:

    • School Fete
    • Marshalling the Ilam fell race
    • Fireworks evening
    • Children’s film afternoons
    • Ball/Disco/Dinner Dance for parents
    • Regular parents social at the pub
    • Pie & Quiz Night
    • Christmas Grotto

    School Angels

    School Angels is a charity that donates commission from their sales to the ISA and the School.
